Popped in around 750pm on Cinco de Mayo. I didnt realize they were scheduled to close at 8pm, but luckily they were partying inside with patrons, employees, and a DJ playing all kinds up music to get the crowd going. Chips and salsa was great and the Herradurra was flowing. Ended up leaving around 925pm. Thanks!
This spot was much better than expected! Their menu is huge and I love that they offer a la carte if you're not super hungry or wanting to spend a lot. Our server was very friendly and attentive, checking in on us every 10-15 mins. We ordered fajitas well done, but they came out regular. However, the meat was still juicy with plenty of flavor. The margaritas are huge (and strong! When I'm in the area again, I'll be back!
Our second visit and our second great meal. We eat Mexican a lot and this is one of the best. We went out of our way to come back when we were visiting Durham. Highly recommend their verde sauce on anything and everything. Great service and great margaritas.
Food was absolutely delicious! Got the beef nachos and the quesadilla suprema with grilled shrimp! Excellent! The only reason for the 4 star was our experience with our waiter. Although nice - he made the atmosphere a bit awkward. He said very little and was scarce for most of our meal. Will definitely be going back!
